About Lebanon State Park

Lebanon State Park, located near the city of Lebanon in southwestern Ohio, centers around the 120-acre Morse Reservoir, which provides excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and water-based recreation. The park covers approximately 680 acres of forested hillsides and open grassy areas that support a variety of native wildlife, including deer, foxes, and numerous bird species. The park's landscape is defined by gently rolling terrain with hardwood forests primarily composed of oak, maple, and hickory trees. Established in 1968, Lebanon State Park was developed to provide accessible outdoor recreation to the growing population of Warren County and nearby urban centers like Cincinnati and Dayton. Visitors can enjoy well-maintained hiking and biking trails, picnic areas with shelters, playgrounds, and a popular campground. The park features a boat ramp and fishing pier, making it a local hotspot for anglers targeting species such as largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. Lebanon State Park’s combination of water-based activities and forested trails creates a versatile destination for families, anglers, and nature enthusiasts alike. The park's proximity to nearby towns ensures easy access, while its quiet, natural setting offers a peaceful escape from urban life.
